Opening hours and admission prices
Opening hours
The Van Gogh House Drenthe (VGH) is open from 1 March to 1 November on Tuesdays to Sundays, from 13.00 to 17.00 hours. In the weekends during the summer period, on Saturday and Sunday between 13:00 and 16:00, you can come and take a look at the renovation! Entrance is free.
From 1 November to 1 March, we are open from 13.00 to 16.00 hours.
You are very welcome to visit our heritage location.
As our Van Gogh House Drenthe only has room for a limited number of visitors, we work by a system of time slots. The first time slot is from 13.00 hours, the following from 14.00, followed by 15.00 hours and finally 16.00 hours. In order to avoid disappointment, we advise you to make a telephone booking beforehand. That can be done via: +31 (0)591 555600.
We suggest a visit of 45 to 60 minutes if you wish to take full advantage of all information and ‘ Vincent’s story’ at the Van Gogh Huis Drenthe. You can opt for an audio-visual tour or with one of our volunteers to guide you around. This tour is included in your admission ticket.
